Perfect Whiskey Sour - Any Time Any Day




The whiskey sour is such an amazing cocktail, all you need are two ingredients, whiskey and sweet and sour mix. You will also be needing ice so make sure you have some.

This great drink is great any time of the day, it's delicious and smooth and is loved by many people. Some people have a hard time with straight whiskey, the whisky sour is a great solution for them.

If you are wondering which whiskey to use, prefer a scotch or an Irish whisky, if you like bourbon then go ahead and use it.

The most important thing is the sweet and sour mix, check out my recipe for a perfect one. You can also use lemon juice and powdered sugar.

Glass: Old fashioned, Rock, Lowball

 

  • Step 1: Pour ingredients into shaker

  • Step 2: Add 6-8 ice cubes

  • Step 3: Shake it!

  • Step 4: Strain into glass filled with fresh ice
  • Garnish:
    Place over the drink the cherry and lime wedge, you can also give the lemon a small squeeze for great aroma
  • You can also use:
    Instead of sour mix you can use juice of a half of lemon and add 1 Oz simple syrup or a half teaspoon of powdered sugar.

Use maraschino cherries if you can get some, they make a whole difference.
