Tijuana Iced Tea

by Tim Morris
(Stuttgart, Germany)

This is a delicious, smooth, yet strong blend for Tequilla lovers. Extremely simple to make, and a real pleasure to drink!
The name is just a little misleading:
None of the ingredients come from Tijuana, it contains no ice, and it contains no tea. But like any classic cocktail, the name gives a nice insight into how the cocktail will taste. Like a Long Island Iced Tea but with a Mexican twist.

Ingredients:
2 measures Silver Tequilla
1 measure Triple Sec
1 whole Lemon, squeezed, with the pulp
4 measures Cola (very cold)

To Mix:
Very simply, squeeze a whole lemon into a glass. Get all the pulp in, but try to remove the pips.
Add 2 shots of Silver Tequilla and 1 shot of Triple Sec.
Pour the Cola quickly and directly into the glass to fill it up. Don't worry, the Cola will not fizz over the top. The other ingredients inhibit the fizz of the Cola until it's in your mouth - great stuff!

Simply enjoy with or without a straw. But beware, although this contains a very nice Tequilla taste it does not taste very alcoholic. Stick to just a couple of these because they'll disappear fast.
