Here's The Sidecar Recipe

This sidecar recipe is the classic version of a top martini cocktail that was invented at the famous "Harry's Bar" at Paris.

The sidecar is a cocktail filled with cognac and orange flavors and aroma... the combination of cognac and orange with lime or lemon juice create a perfect balance that makes an amazing cocktail!

Ingredients:

1.5 Oz Cognac

0.5 Oz Triple sec or Orange liqueur (I prefer Cointreau)

0.5 Oz Lemon or lime juice (I prefer lime)

8 Ice cubes or crushed ice

Method:

Glass: Martini

Step 1: Chill glass

Step 2: Put ice in the shaker

Step 3: Add the triple sec and cognac

Step 4: Add the lime or lemon juice

Step 5: Shake it! 10 times at least

Step 6: Double Strain into the glass

Garnish: A twisted lemon peel

I like adding a few drops of orange bitters, they add a great aroma that combines perfectly with the amazing smell of the cognac
