The idea about this came to me while trying to change the drinks menu, but without having to buy anything new. And since we serve as a dessert "Fried Lychees" which come from a can, I decided to use the juice which we would otherwise throw. Here it is:
Ingredients:
5 cl white rum
5 cl triple sec or cointreau
5 cl lychee juice (if not from a can check for sweetness)
juice from half a lime
5 cl soda water
Mix the first four in a old-fashioned glass, add the soda water and fill the rest with crushed ice. Garnish optional- lime ring or a maraschino cherry at the bottom.
Can be done also as a martini (without the soda water:).
Enjoy!
