Out of boredom and in need of a nice drink, I decided to venture into the kitchen bar and try out my own mix. Turned out, the drink is what i needed to quench the thirst. Since I am from the great town of Kajang ( The world famous Kajang chicken Satay originated from here) I decided to call it Kajang Sling Tango!
So, here it goes, the drink is pretty easy to mix and the real taste explodes when the peachtree liquer fuses with the Scotch and fresh orange and as you drink , when the cocktail reaches the grenadine!
1. 1 Fresh orange squeezed & Juiced
2. 45 ml, Whyte & Mackay Scotch Whisky
3. 60 ml, Peachtree Peach Liquer/Schnapps
4. 1/2 a can of carbonated Shandy ( any shandy can do)
5. A dash of grenadine
6.Highball glass chilled and with ice cubes inside
7. A dash of lemon squeeze on top of the drink
Add all ingredients from No.1 to No.4 into a shaker and mix it up. Prepare glass, add the grenadine at the bottom and add ice and pour the mix slowly and gently into the glass. garnish it with a a lime slice and umbrella and drink it with a thin straw. ( You can squeeze some lime juice on to of the glass to add a a bit of fresh tangy zing!)
