"Ume Royale" - A Champagne Cocktail Recipe With An Asian Twist

"what a twist! best champagne cocktail I've ever had"



 

The "ume royale" is the most unique champagne cocktail recipe I've invented. It is very simple to make and requires only three ingredients.

The flavor of the "choya royale" is sweet, this is thanks to the vanilla syrup we use, and of course the "Ume" - A Japanese plum wine (ume in Japanese means plum).

This is a cocktail people just love, and its special taste will get them coming back for more!

 

Ingredients:

  • 0.75 Oz Plum wine - Ume Shu - I prefer Choya

  • 0.25 Oz Vanilla flavored syrup - I prefer Monin

  • Chilled champagne or sparkling wine

Glass: Flute(champagne), Wine glass

 

  • Step 1: Pour the plum wine into the glass

  • Step 2: Add the vanilla syrup

  • Step 3: Tilt the glass and fill it with champagne

  • If you have a cherry or a small Japanese plum just throw it in your drink.

  • You can also use:

    Sake instead of the plum wine, the drink will be less sweet but it will still have a cool Asian twist.

Chill the glass in the fridge or freezer, it will keep the drink cold, there is nothing better then an ice cold champagne cocktail
